Peak consumption
We offer 3 levels of energy autonomy.
Minimum Autonomy matches your lowest consumption of the year. It is a first step towards complete autonomy. During months with higher consumption, you will still have a CEB bill for your monthly consumption minus the energy supplied each day by the batteries.
Average Autonomy matches your average annual consumption. This is the solution we recommend. During months with lower consumption, surplus production will be sold and your bill will be zero. During months with higher consumption, you will have a small remaining CEB bill for the difference between the energy supplied by the batteries and your consumption.
Peak Autonomy means sizing your batteries to match your highest consumption for full and complete autonomy. If your consumption does not exceed the amounts on the bills you provided, your CEB bills will be zero. You will have a very comfortable energy reserve during the other months. Surplus energy will be sold for up to 9 months out of 12, improving your financial balance.

Financing and appointment
The monthly fee stays the same whatever you choose. Only the way you settle the Increased First Rental changes.
Please select a solution first to compare the financing options.
This is your monthly rental payment. It covers the complete solar system (panels, inverter, battery), installation, maintenance and equipment replacement for the entire contract term.
The fee is not fixed: it is capped at +6% per year, while the CEB tariff rises faster. The gap therefore widens in your favour year after year.
The Increased First Rental after the state grant is deducted.
For households, the grant is 25% of the PLM, capped at Rs 75,000.
Possible grant: repayment of NIC loan
The loan starts without waiting for the grant. After installation, testing and CEB commissioning, if DBM pays Solar Rent, the full amount is remitted to NIC. The simulation assumes Year 1 receipt and revised instalments from Year 2; actual timing must be confirmed.
Answer 6 questions based on the criteria published by DBM. Solar Rent is the eligible Mauritian company that will issue your quotation. No answer is stored or transmitted.
Your personalised supporting documents
This list adapts to your answers and separates documents to prepare, items to obtain and circumstances to clarify.
A DBM grant already awarded to the household is a core criterion, not a missing document. Check your situation directly with DBM.
Indicative list based on the published criteria. DBM may request additional documents and requires originals at the appointment.

Indicative result, not an approval. Award depends on DBM verification, the documents, the eligible amount and available funds.
What the operation actually costs you
The monthly instalment is only one flow in the operation. What matters is the monthly balance once the avoided CEB bill and the surplus resale are deducted.
Rent and instalment, less the avoided CEB bill and the surplus resale credit.
This is the actual balance of the operation, instalment included.
Guarantee required by the lender (mortgage, pledge or surety) to cover the loan.
Providing security means setting up guarantees and, in some cases, associated fees.
Down payment at signature plus the sum of monthly efforts over the period.
This is the total cash outflow to plan for before the operation becomes self-funding.
SolarCash Solar Rent: 48-month option at the negotiated 14% rate, no additional customer collateral requested; minimum 5% of PLM paid upfront, potentially 10% per NIC.
Negotiated Solar Rent / NIC rates: 14% for My Cash and 8.5% for My Loan. NIC confirms the cash portion (5% minimum, potentially 10%) and loan approval after reviewing the application; simulation results remain estimates.
Effort and gain computed on the simulation assumptions: CEB increase, rent indexation capped at +6%/year and indexed surplus resale.
